How to Measure
To determine the correct size of Pull Out Shelves to order, simply open the cabinet door and measure the width of the opening as shown below.
Example:
|
 |
If W = 17-1/4" you would order to fit a 17" opening.
(Because 17-1/2", the next size, would be too wide.)
The hardware adds 1" to the total width of the operating
Pull Out Shelf, so we would ship a Sliding Shelf that
measures 16". Adding the inch for hardware, the overall
size of your Pull Out Shelf and hardware would be 17",
just right for your 17-1/4" kitchen cabinet opening.
Your Sliding Shelf will be 22" front-to-back. |
Don't forget to watch out for protruding hinges
|
European cabinetry
The photos at the right show the protruding hinges we are talking about. Also, the door never actually clears the cabinet opening. Measure from the hinge to the cabinet wall on the other side for the bottom Pull Out Shelf, and from wall to wall for a Pull Out Shelf attached to the existing shelf. Be sure to tell us it's European cabinetry. |
