Hidden glides attach entirely underneath the Sliding Shelf, so no part of the moveable portion is visible on the extended shelf when viewed from the top, front, or sides.  Even though the glides are hidden from view, the Sliding Shelf is rated at 100# static, 75# live load when fully extended.

    Sliding Shelves with Hidden Glides are 1" wider than those using the standard 3/4-Extension or the Full-Extension glides. 

    Hidden glides are 3/4-Extension only (Full-Extension is not available), and are 22-1/2" long. A standard 22" Sliding Shelf is used with this glide type.  That means a standard 22" long Sliding Shelf pulls out 16-1/2".

    As the name implies, a Sliding Shelf with our Full-Extension Glides will pull out the full length of the glide.  The Sliding Shelf is still rated at 100# static, 75# live load, even when fully extended.

    A standard 22" long glide would allow the Sliding Shelf to be pulled out a full 22".

     When ordering custom lengths, these glides are available in 2" increments, beginning with 12" and ending at 30" long.  While we do not charge for cutting the standard length down to a custom size, lengths over 22" have an up-charge.  Call 1-800-725-1628  or e-mail for an estimate.
